Everybody needs a little cash for the holidays, right?
Rusty Wallace, the 1989 NASCAR Cup champion, Hall of Famer and current broadcaster, has a house for sale in Linville, North Carolina, and heâs asking $1,599,000.
For sale is a 3,567-square-foot âmountain styleâ home at 1020 Ridge Drive. The price is far from the most expensive one listed in the resort town that sits next to Grandfather Mountain â we found one âestateâ for over $7 million.
Wallaceâs house, according to Realtor.com, is a mix of stone and dark woods. Itâs a single-story with four bedrooms and four bathrooms. The master bedroom is next to the master bathroom, which has a spa and a separate deck of its own. The house was built in 2006.
âI love that when Iâm at Linville Ridge, I donât have to worry about leaving for anything, because everything I need is right here for me,â Wallace told Realtor.com. âThere are five restaurants, a spa that I visit every time Iâm in town and a golf course that I love to play. I really have no reason to leave.â
So why is he? A growing family, Wallace said. With three grown children and multiple grandchildren, the home isnât big enough for everybody.
