NASCAR, along with partners FOX Sports and NBC Sports, unveiled 2020 race start times and network coverage for the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series, and NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series. Overall, 21 national series events will air on broadcast television in 2020, including the Daytona 500 (Feb. 16, FOX), Coca-Cola 600 (May 24, FOX), Brickyard 400 (July 5, NBC), and the NASCAR Cup Series regular-season finale at Daytona International Speedway (August 29, NBC). Five of the final six NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs races will air on NBC, including the Cup Series championship from ISM Raceway on Sunday, Nov. 8.

AXS TV is bringing IMPACT Wrestling to its new home starting Oct. 1 at 8p with preview specials running each week that will lead up to the premiere of the weekly, flagship series IMPACT! on Oct. 29. ESPNâs Always Late with Katie Nolan returns for its second season and will make its linear TV debut on Thursday. The half-hour show hosted by Katie Nolan will run on Thursday nights at 12:30a on ESPN2 and feature âNolanâs authentic perspective on the biggest news in sports, plus games, guests, and more.â In addition to the weekly linear show, Nolan â as part of a larger video agreement with Facebook â will deliver exclusive content to Facebook Watch.
Year one of NBC Sportsâ first outing as the exclusive media partner of IndyCar drew a 9% viewership uptick for the 2019 NTT IndyCar Series season over 2018 numbers, according to data from the Nielsen company and digital data from Adobe Analytics. The 16 races in 2019 averaged a Total Audience Delivery of 1.105 million viewers across NBC, NBCSN, NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app. Across NBC Sports streaming platforms, the 2019 NTT IndyCar Series season delivered a total of 12.9 million live minutes and an Average Minute Audience (AMA) of 6,300 viewers.
Speaking of ratings, last Wednesdayâs volleyball match between No. 1 Nebraska and No. 2 Stanford ranked the most-watched volleyball match in Big Ten Network history, according to Nielsen. The rematch of last seasonâs national championship averaged 226,765 viewers. In addition to the television broadcast, the FOX Sports app live stream brought in over 718,000 minutes of total consumption, which also broke a record for the most-watched BTN volleyball stream ever.
ACC Network mapped out programming for ACC womenâs basketball for its first season, where the channel will exclusively air 60 regular-season games in its debut season, including 42 conference matchups, representing a 75% rise in the number of ACC womenâs basketball events available on ESPNâs linear networks over last year. Coverage begins with North Carolina hosting Navy on Monday, Nov. 11. ACCN will feature 18 doubleheaders and five tripleheaders on Thursdays and Sundays throughout the season.
NBA TV is poised to carry 20 live preseason games in the coming weeks, including appearances by the Los Angeles Lakers, Milwaukee Bucks, LA Clippers, Brooklyn Nets, Golden State Warriors, Philadelphia 76ers, Houston Rockets, Boston Celtics and Toronto Raptors. The slate will tip off with the Rockets against the Shanghai Sharks on Sept. 30, at 8p.
Tonight will see NHL Network debut the first episode of its all-access docuseries âBehind The Glass: Philadelphia Flyers Training Campâ at 8p. The Western Collegiate Hockey Association will return to FloHockey.tv for another season on the live streaming platform.
