Over 25% of the full-time drivers in the field have changed teams for 2020

There’s been a lot of movement as NASCAR heads into a new season.

The big three in the NASCAR Xfinity Series will all move up to the big leagues in 2020. Tyler Reddick, Christopher Bell and Cole Custer all move up to the Cup Series in bulk. All of them will now battle for Rookie of the Year.

Paul Menard is now retired. That left room for Matt DiBenedetto to remain as a full-time driver.

John Hunter Nemechek is moving up into the series as well. Quin Houff makes 5 rookies. Brennan Poole is back and he’ll make a run as the sixth driver fighting for rookie of the year in 2020.

The season will begin with the Daytona 500. They’ll unload at Daytona International Speedway on February 16, 2020.
