Johnny Sauter finished sixth in the Chevrolet Silverado 250 at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, adding 42 points to his season total.
Sauter now sits at at No. 7 in the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series playoff standings with 2085 points. Heâs posted three top-five finishes in 2019.
Brett Moffitt brought home the win in the race, with Alex Tagliani finishing second, and Ben Rhodes placing third. Sheldon Creed brought home fourth place, followed by Austin Hill to round out the top five.
Moffitt took Stage 1, with Ross Chastain winning Stage 2. Both drivers picked up a playoff point for their effort.
Sauter qualified in 13th position at 109.528 mph.
The Necedah, Wisconsin native has tallied 24 career victories, 105 top-five finishes and has placed in the top 10 in 164 races.
There were 29 cars in the field and the race saw three cautions and nine caution laps. Prior to the checkered flag, there were six lead changes.
With Moffitt driving his Silverado to glory for Maurice Gallagher Jr., Chevrolet added 40 points to its season totals. Overall, Chevrolet ranks No. 1 with 667 points, followed by Toyota in the No. 2 spot with 652. Ford sits at No. 3 with 599 points on the season.
