At this point last year, the drivers didn’t know what to expect with this impending cutoff race as it was a brand new circuit for NASCAR in general even though it was partially made from a very familiar track, and in fact, the home base for NASCAR in Charlotte Motor Speedway. This year, it’s still a cutoff race; it’s still slightly uncharted territory, but the feeling around the teams isn’t quite as “terrifying” as Kevin Harvick stated last year. There are some changes to the layout for this year’s race and of course, the package has changed but mostly it’s the same 109-lap, 2.28-mile track that hosted this event in 2018.

If you are new to the NASCAR coverage this year, or simply don’t remember it from last year, you’ll see a layout of the track to the right with all of the turns numbers, credit to MRN.
