One down, two to go.

The NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series has three road-course races on the 2019 schedule. Martin Truex Jr. dominated the race in Sonoma in June. The Roval at Charlotte Motor Speedway is awaiting in the playoffs, seemingly set to ruin more drivers’ championship hopes.

In between is Watkins Glen, which has provided excellent racing in recent seasons. If served correctly, WGI can be the last wild card race remaining for those who need to squeeze out a win to make the playoffs.

Here’s what you need to know about NASCAR’s weekend in New York:

Go Bowling at The Glen schedule

Green Flag Time: 2 p.m. CT Saturday 

Track: Watkins Glen International; Watkins Glen, N.Y. (2.45 miles)

Length: 220.5 miles, 90 laps

Stage Lengths: 20 laps, 20 laps, 50 laps

TV Coverage: NBC Sports Network 

Radio: 104.5 The Zone (104.5 FM in Nashville)

Streaming: NBC Sports app (subscription required); MRN.com and SiriusXM for audio (subscription required)

Xfinity Series this week: Austin Cindric earned his first ever Xfinity Series victory at The Glen Saturday when he passed A.J. Allmendinger with a lap to go.

Truck Series this week: Stewart Friesen earned his first career Truck Series victory in Thursday’s Eldora Dirt Derby.
